My thoughts on Revlon Colorburst lip gloss in Strawberry and Hot Pink: I don’t wear lip gloss often, but when I do I like it to be pigmented. These glosses are certainly pigmented. I like Strawberry better than Hot Pink only because hot Pink is too frosty. They are creamy, not sticky. You can press your lips together without having to pry them apart. I don’t love the fact that I can feel the glitter in them. It’s not so annoying that it keeps me from wearing them. Overall, I really like these glosses. I would repurchase these items again. (I bought these glosses at Target for about $7 each)

My thoughts on Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink in the Afternoon: 1. This picture makes my hand look so odd, ignore that. 2. I love this lipstick, I just can’t figure out if I love it on my lips. It is a gorgeous color! However, applied it appears a bit lighter than it looks in the picture. I got it about two months ago and have been wearing it about once a week, so I guess that says something. Regardless of my qualms, I do recommend this lipstick. The formula really is lustrous (good job, advertisers!) and it is a classic pink that never goes out of style. I would repurchase this product again. (I purchased this at Target for approximately $6)

My thought on Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl: I have loved this product in this color for years! It is one of the only pencil products that I will purchase because I generally hate to use products you have to sharpen. I can’t explain this preference, I just hate to use a sharpener! This is the perfect red for me, and I’ve tried lots of reds. I don’t wear it as often as I’d like, but when I stumble upon it in my lipstick drawer I usually end up wearing for days at a time. I would DEFINITELY repurchase this item! (I purchased this at Sephora for $24)

My thoughts on Nars Lip Gloss in Turkish Delight: The formula itself is about average as far as glosses go. A bit stickier than I would like, but not unbearably so. I am embarrassed to admit that I bought this gloss because Kim Kardashian was raving about how great it is and said that she wears it almost every day. I had seen pictures of her with pale pink lips and wanted to see if the color would work for me because we have somewhat similar skin tones. Unfortunately, the color makes me look dead. I’ve tried layering it, but it is too pale for me. I would only recommend it to girls with skin tones exactly like or lighter than Kim Kardashian. I would not repurchase this. (I bought this at Sephora for $24)

If I didn’t love being me so much I would want to be Dita Von Teese. She is the epitome of glamour. Some women just belong in a corset and red lipstick.

My new striped nails! Again, they are the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips. This pattern is called Stripe-Tease. I definitely recommend them!

Adorable leopard-print nails. Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips (wow, ridiculously long name) are so easy to apply and they truly last ten days like the packaging claims. Buy them now!

Christina Hendricks: One of the most gorgeous women in the world. She looks so poised and classic, yet there’s something about the ecclectic edge of the royal blue and the jewels that makes the look modern. Love.
